Questions and Answers

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

What if I do not have Internet access? Several options can be pursued. The City of Puyallup Public Library offers free Internet access to all individuals with a library card, or your employer may allow access outside of regular work hours, or a friend or family member may allow use of their connection.

None of the above options will work for me. What should I do now?

For situations like this, the club can arrange for registration on a case-by-case basis. You may contact us using the number provided. The new on-line system was meant to enhance our ability to serve our members, it is not, and should not be a barrier to registering players.

I’m not comfortable using my credit card on-line. What options do I have for registration payment?

In addition to credit card payments, we have added the ability to pay by personal check. Upon completion of the on-line registration process, a bill will be created which will give you detailed information for mailing payment. If the option of credit card payment appeals to you, but you do not want to use your card for on-line transactions, you may want to consider purchasing a pre-loaded credit card.

Can I pay by credit card over the phone?

At this time, that service is not available. Payment by credit card must be done through the club’s registration website. Debit cards are not accepted by the system as well.

How secure is your on-line payment system?

The Puyallup Soccer Club has contracted with Bonzi Development, and Wells Fargo to provide the highest level of on-line financial security possible.

I have more than one child registering. Will I need to register them all at once?

No. The username and password you create will retrieve any information you have entered in the past. You may register all, or one at a time. The system will remember what you have entered previously, including any applicable discounts for multi-players.

Where does the money for registration go to?

Every year the PSC Executive Board produces a budget for the next soccer season. Registration fees are established to offset the cost of playing youth soccer. Expenses range in degree based on the age of the player, but generally speaking there are three ranges of fees: Micro U6, Small Sided U7~U11, and full field U12~U18.

Expenses include, but are not limited to: Manditory insurance premiums for each player, Port-O-Potties at fields, Referees, field rent, line paint, nets and goals (when needed), affiliation fees to local and state associations, on-line registration software and web hosting, office supplies, and many others.

Any monitary amount left at the end of the budget cycle is deposited in the clubs field aquisition fund.

Why does the Puyallup Soccer Club require a copy of my child's Birth Certificate?

The Puyallup Soccer Club is a member of the Tacoma Pierce County Junior Soccer Association, TPCJSA. The Rules and Regulations of TPCJSA require that each club obtain and hold proof of age for every registered player. This requirement is mandatory for our club.

We do not share this information with any other organization, unless an audit is requested by TPCJSA. Records of inactive players are shredded after two years.

Birth Certificates issued by appropriate government agencies are the most common form of age verification; however, Board of Health Records, Passports, Alien Registration Cards issued by the Department of Immigration and Naturalization, and Certificates of Americans born abroad from an appropriate government agency are also acceptable. A copy of any of the above will do.

The submission of hospital, baptismal, or religious certificates are not acceptable forms of age verification at this time.
